Most of my poetry is inspired by an event. Almost always a sad one. I have written more than what I will be posting at first. I've lost my book of poems. I hope I find it. If I do I will certainly post them here. It's great to have a place like this online to post with other poets who are just doing there thing. I really respect that. I tend to write poetry when something has happened and I need to get my thoughts into a readable and understandable form. It can be abstract and still make sense. I hope some of you get something out of my writing and I look forward to reading much of yours as well. If you read them, thank you. I appreciate any comments, no matter what type.
"It's a rare gift, you know, to feel reverence for your own life and to want the best, the greatest, the highest possible here, now for your very own. To imagine a Heaven and then not to dream of it, but to demand it."
