So I felt the need to completely start anew on all poetry with this name change. My old page was a mess of caked on layers written and rewritten and added to until it was no longer a picture of myself, but a confusing collage of bits and images in thick oil paints. So let me begin at the beginning, now: Hello.
For anyone who thinks my new name is annoying: sorry. For those who think my new user name is confusing, well, that's because it's in japanese, and for your convenience you may call me Kelsey. This name is practically my new/old identity, but it has a new meaning to me recently, and so the name has also transformed. For those looking for a translation: Kirei = Pretty/ Beautiful. Aka = Red. Yuki = Snow. Tsuki = Moon. No = of. (note, the Tsukino part, being japanese, actually is translated as 'of the moon', and not 'moon of'.) If anyone fluent in Japanese (or even not) knows that my name ACTUALLY doesn't mean this, I would greatly appreciate telling me what this ACTUALLY says and how to ACTUALLY say Pretty Red Snow of the Moon.
As you might have guessed I am extremely into Japanese things, and I am not as naive as I was when I first started this account to believe I am unique in my interest in the pop-culture nation. Still my interest doesn't lessen, in fact it makes me want to learn more or know more than just anime and manga so I am not just normal American otaku.
Besides Japan I do have other interests, MANY, in fact. So many that I have no idea what I am going to do once I get out of school. Something psychology related I hope. My Interest in school subjects include english, art, science, a little bit of math too, and I do enjoy my Spanish one class =]. Other things that really interest me are different languages. I freaking love hidden meanings and deciphering codes so I guess that's why I want to learn/speak another language, and also why I make up my own. So... I'm thinking an interpretter might be a good job for me
. Of course, then there's also psychology-sciencey-artsy things, like this one thing my friend (Simply Abstract) and I do (besides LOSING THE GAME! PAYBACK! ^-^ ) where we listen to a song and relate back the colors we "see" when we listen to it. For the most part the colors are the same or similar and while she does it based on the scale or notes used in the song (freaking amazing that she can tell) I go purely on ... well, what I see. I have no idea how I find the colors. Maybe it's the same method, but just unconscious.
So... I guess you would call that experimental psychology... with a hint of lemon(art)? *shrugs* And all kinds of stuff like that interests me. Just the label "Experimental Psychology... with ART" interests me. *shakes head*.
And then there's also writing, drawing/painting/etc., photography, I could do stuff with math, Psychology, OR science, I could teach, OH, and something I forgot earlier, I really enjoy playing video games, and I would absolutely LOVE to make my own (or atleast come up with the world, concept, storyline, characters, fighting style, weapons, etc. etc., someone ELSE could MAKE it (program-wise) for all I care. But I would have to be in charge of the art and story...etc. TT-TT so much!) so ...yeah. That's a TON of COULD's. Rawr.
So... music, =]
[Band/"Favorite Song By Them"]
[Dir en grey/"Kodou" or "Merciless Cult" or "Filth"], [Girugamesh/"[Shoujo A]"], [Disturbed/right now it's "Inside the Fire"], ["The Parade Song" and "Girl in Byakkoya" from the movie Paprika], [Mae/"Reflections"], [Madina Lake/"True Love"], [Maximum the Hormone/"Louisiana Bob" or "Koi no Mega Lover"], [Pensive/"What Dreams May Come"], [Dragon Force/ "Inside the Winter Storm" (Maybe)], [Malice Mizer/ "Syunikiss"], [D'espairs Ray+/ "Mirror"], [Orange Range/ "Lights" and "O2"], [Three Days Grace/ "Animal I have Become" or "Over and Over" or "Let You Down" (<-- #1 on songs-stuck-in-my-head list)], [Apocalyptica feat. Adam Gontier/ "I Don't Care"], [Korn], [Panic! At the Disco/ "Intermission" (lol) OR "Time to Dance"], [Fair to Midland/ "(When The Bough Breaks) Say When"], [Celldweller/ "Own Little World(?)"], [Imogen Heap/ "Say Goodnight and Go"], [Breaking Benjamin/ "Evil Angel" or "Dance With the Devil" or "Unkown Soldier" (I pretty much love all of Breaking Benjamin <3)], [Paramore].
I think that pretty much covers it...
SONG LYRICS =]
Merciless Cult - Diru<3 (in English of course)
"The pessimistic you The merciless you
And the self-loving you, What are you looking at?
With comparing and getting things in proportion you scream out mad
You wanted this ending to happen
You must be a romanticist
But I just remembered that there is no love here
Over and Over somewhere begins to break
Please love me, this blood and the meaning
Please love me, this day and this value
gasp for breath "
So... my romantic situation has become a bit more focused since before when I had a few people I liked, now there's really only one in my sights, ahahha. Like a hunter
. (gimme a break, it's five a.m. people!) But anyways, I'm not sure if the credit should go to the one being amazing so much as the others dropping out of the race :/ Pah, more like just evaporating. I was sitting in math class and suddenly I realized... only one person really remained in my heart. So yeah. The result of my "romance" is the poem "The Chemistry", so expect more of the same. Oh, as a note the "romance" is one sided (as always) as of now.
