Welcome

This is my page. I love to write poetry, act, play guitar (acoustic), sing, read, cook, play video games, do lots of other stuff, and, most of all, experience. Everything is everything else. No matter how different we might seem, no matter how much we might hate each other, we all belong to each other. I'm not perfect (very far from it, actually) but I spend my days trying to remember that everything I do, say, or think has the possibility of affecting someone/something else (either positively or negatively). And to this effect, I do my best to be as positive as I can...because if I harm someone or something I also harm myself and everthing else. My poetry may seem dark, cynical, angry, maybe even misanthropic, but most of it comes from the deep sadness I feel in my heart when I see how humans treat the environment, animals, and each other. We as humans have a responsibility to all forms of life, sentient or not. The environment cannot lessen our use of fossil fuels, and cannot get rid of landfills...Animals cannot save themselves from the torture of becoming fit for us to eat...And humans cannot save themselves from each other unless we as a whole realize our responsibility to everything. I have no desire to push my beliefs upon others (in fact, I object to it) but I do wish to ask everyone who reads this (and everyone who doesn't) to think about what we as humans are doing to the world. Not only are we destroying our Mother and our Father, we are also destroying each other...through war, hate, and just general negativity. I'm sure I am not the first to say so, but now is the time to act...now is the time to turn around and face ourselves in the universal mirror...now is the time to rectify what mistakes we can, and learn from them all...now is the time to change. There is a shift coming and now is the time determine exactly what will happen...
