I've been writing for a long time, but it took place mostly in my mind. Finally my soul compelled me to write it down, so I'm going with the flow! I'm a makeup artist working in new york and meet about 6 to seven new people a day..this alone inspires me to write.

-SEE US-
The only thing viewable
is the sadness in their
eyes, protruding as pain
finds exit only through there.
Affixed against the flesh,
invisible scars of bodies that
ache, but no one seems to care.
The young, the lost the scared
the future is what they hope for.
Adults, vanquish with despair
for life fleets in a vacuum.
Let our hearts open to them,
the children call out our names.
"See us we are here"...the
only thing they wish to say.

Her eyes
I can't relate how it feels
as I looked into her eyes
it felt surreal.
I liken it to a trip
your mind might take...
all manner of possibilities
occur like fate.
Her eyes they grab hold
and grip you real tight,
lord I feel lost in her light.
Her eyes are beautiful anyone can see...
when I look into them I wonder are they waiting for me?
