My name is LaAmy'a but just about everyone calls me LaLa or Mya. Either or, I like them both. I'm nineteen years old, and currently living in West Virginia with my fiance, and best friends. I'm getting married on 6-20-08, and I don't have any children though, I've raised three.
I've been through a lot in my life, from the time I was fourteen years old, until now. I use to be the depressed little girl who thought no one could ever love her. Fell inlove, and fell hard on my face. Went through the whole cutting, drinking, bulimia, self harm thing. Grew out of it I guess. A lot of my past poetry has to do with some of those things.
I've delt with death, losing my best friend, my Grandfather, and a few others, most of my poetry is sad. I don't judge anyone, I try to be open minded, and give everyone a chance. Sadly, that's probably why I've been hurt far too many times, but that's just what I believe in.
