Figured I'd update since it's been a while.

My name is Daniel, I'm a 17 year old student attending private high school in St. Louis, MO. Seattle, WA is where I call home. I've been writing solidly for about 4 years, only two have I been here at AP. I love AP, and I love the time I have spent here, and the friends I have made. I am a grammar nazi, and a comma-whore. I am what I hate I guess.

Every now and then I host the Celtic Rose contest, a contest of Celtic oriented poetry. The gold prize winner gets a nice little graphic that they can link to on their page, or place on their page if they are the right type of member.

I haven't had really any exciting or life changing things happen to me. The most life affecting thing that has happened was my father passing away in 1999. Rest In Peace Dad .

There are too many poets that I like around here to list them anymore. Feel free to add me to your friends list, or just drop me a line. I love meeting new people, and you are no exception.

I am a Christian Scientist, with a particular interest in the roots of Paganism and of Buddhism. If you have a problem with my religion, tell me to my face, and I will talk with you about it. I am against discrimination because of religion, and would love to talk to anyone about my religion. (I usually get the 'aren't you the ones that don't go to doctors and take medicine?' well yes... ask me if you want more clarification) I consider myself very open minded, and will talk about any aspect of anything with anyone. I hold nothing against people of color, different nationality, with different sexual preferences, or ideals. I try to be as nondiscrimantory as I can be.

I love all things history, especially Japanese things ( I love all things Japan) and I love things about Celtic History.

I am a martial artist, though I have no rank as I haven't had time to devote myself to a dojo that specializes in one martial art. Most of my classes have been mixes of everything, or Aikido.

I love computers and work with them as much as I can. I run linux on most of my computers, but I have one XP box in case things get all janked up.
