I am a Martial Artist

 

I am a martial artist.

I see through different eyes.

I see a bigger picture

when others see gray skies.

 

Though many can't conceive it,

I stand. . .facing the wind.

My bravery, not from fighting,

but from my strength within.

 

I am a martial artist.

I'll walk the extra mile.

Not because I have too,

but because it's worth my while.

 

I know that I am different,

when I stand on a crowded street.

I know the fullness of winning,

I've tasted the cup of defeat.

 

I am a martial artist.

They say I walk with ease.

Though trained for bodily harm,

my intentions are for peace.

 

The world may come and go,

but a different path I'll choose.

A path I will not stray from,

no matter, win or lose.

    dude your poems are short but they're good like that. sum more pathetic ways to express fellings are literally bawling tears (to me if u cry ur weak) but hey i've been through sum crap thats made me cry and i hated it.

    need advice for your poems? Well, growth as a poet is a slooooooow and paaaainful process- it requires experiences with social life, so draw from that- heavy on the psychological and emotional... and for our female friends, lots and lotsa romance...! lol

    If you should remember how to spell HAIKU (the word does not have a plural form -- one haiku, many haiku), just think if the K in KARATE ... haiKu ... see? Easy. Now you will always spell it correctly.
