My poetry is neo-Gothic. I get most of my inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe, Edward Gorey, The Graveyard Poets, surrealist art, the Romantic/Baroque era, Switchblade Symphony and The Distillers. I like to make people feel the misery in my poems, even though I don't want to make them miserable, just make them hear the echoes of sorrow in my poems, if only for the few seconds they're reading it.
