I haven't been writing for too many years(only about 6 or so), and I'm relatively new to this site. I don't have any special talents, but I do adore my friends. Most of my poems are a little depressing, but I love writing them, and this seems to be the spot to showcase them without nosy relatives poking in on how I'm "feeling." I'm eager to hear people's opinions on my poetry and I'm hoping I can overcome some serious writer's block....
My hope's and dreams are varied at the moment because of my not-so-fun brain malfunction. One moment I may aspire to make sure everyone I meet remembers me, and another moment may be devoted to me asking myself, "What is the point?" I am looking to express myself without judgment. To answer a few questions: no, I am not emo, I am not goth, I'm not a prep, I'm not anything but me. I'm just passionate about the way I feel. I hope that's enough for anyone who would like to get to know me.
~ How many times do the lies have to take us to the breaking point before we realize our true feelings? ~
~ I'm screaming at the top of my lungs, but no one can hear me ~
~ I grasp the minute hand with every ounce of my strength, but I can't seem to keep it from slipping from my grip ~
~ You keep swimming just outside my reach, coming in and out of focus. Slowly drowning, yet not realizing the terrifying fate that awaits. And I cannot save you. ~
