This contest is for authors 14 years and younger writing for the child reader.
I have another contest running simultaniously for those writers who are 15 years and older, writing for children.
http://allpoetry.com/contest/show/2354850
I want poems (or short stories) telling me what it is that scares you, really scares you. And if you've managed to conquer that fear, you can tell me about that.
I want quality poems or short stories which are geared to the imaginations and pleasure of young children who are below the age of 12 years old.
Rules are pretty basic:
1. No profanity... none at all
2. Good grammar (unless something is pertinent to the piece)good punctuation... but remember, not much is needed in poetry.
3. Please put your age at the end of your poem/story.
4. No adult, erotica, abuse catagories. Everyone should be able to read the entries.
5. nO tYPiNg lIke THiS and NO ALL CAPS LIKE THIS
The Gold winners in both contests will have a link to their poem placed on my author page.
So... put your muse to work, and I'll see you in the contest.
