Ok, now I haven't run a contest in ages so this time I'm going to run it my way. You guys are going to put a poem in and ask for either a song or a picture. All songs I chose will be accessible through myspace or youtube. All pictures will be from deviant art.
In your reserved poem place your username and ask for either a song or picture
Now, whatever your prompt is you !MUST! place it in the authors notes, for example, the song title and artist or the link to the picture
Don't do that, this contest I will not consider you for the final judgement, nor shall I comment on you. It's not a hassle really.
All pictures will be sort of dark or have dark aspects

- Final notes: Alrighty. I am so sorry it took so long to judge. Things kept comming up, distractions etc etc. Anyway, some of you didn't follow the rules, so I failed to comment on your poems finally and didn't consider them in the finalists, sorry. But it was warned in the rules. Anyway, twas snazzy to read different styles. The winners are all awesome, the hm was for the magnificent alliteration used. =D Anyway, thank you for all putting up with me and my lengthy judging. Hope you all had fun

Id just like to say what i dont like about these sort of contests is that it isnt a level playing field, but i guess you know that, sorry ill butt out
and you should send me your list of songs, im not entering-funny, i love music but im rarely inspired to write a poem from a song and the same for pics, though i have on occasion if the arts good and it hits me somewhere

Uh thanks.
I just haven't done this sort of contest before and wanted everyone to get something different without them having to chose. That way, it wasn't what suited them but what actually suited the picture. I found in the last contest I had concerning pictures most people didn't follow the picture but just placed a poem with an extremely vague reference to it. This way I can make sure that they make a poem closer to the picture. And it's easier to handle
I don't actually have a list of songs...lol
It's more, if someone asks I'll just get one. If you message me tomorrow or Friday I can set up a list of some good artists if you'd like, I'm just quiet busy at the moment with a major project due soon. -
