The funk infused hard rock band Extreme, one of my all-time faves, has reunited and is touring this summer, with a new CD coming out in August!
I'd like you to select one of the following songs and put your spin on the lyrics or idea of the song.
A poem (rhyme or free, no matter) preferably no less than 20 lines, no more than, oh, say 50 (we can fudge it if need be, but please don't go overboard).
You do NOT have to rewrite the song!

~No FunKY WrITinG or chat speak, keep cursing to a minimal (if needed at all), blah blah blah...
~I'm not picky about form or format, don't worry! I've had my own worked picked thru by people who think that I can't learn from my own experience, so I won't be picking yours apart. To quote from one of my pieces, "Art is not for critics" ~ from Symphony of Blood

- Final notes: Thank you for all your enjoyable reads and for taking the time to enter! I tried running this as long as possible, but for some reason it didn't draw the attention I was hoping it would. There were actually 3 other entries that for some reason got removed - and I have no idea why! Anyway, on with the show...
Only 1 entry did not qualify for an award, and that's because I wrote it! I did one on More Than Words for another contest, and thought, sure, why not?!
