Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on August 14
  • Rewards: Gold: 2000, Silver: 1000, Bronze: 500
  • Final notes:
Each entrant here went above and beyond
my expectations, truly! Word banks are
difficult and can restrict one's creative
product, but each of you seemed to swallow
the bank and make the words your own.
Congrats to the finalists who's job was difficult-
making their writes stand-out a bit more amidst
such fine verses. It was fantastic for me to read
each of these (at least twice) and to see all
the poetic focus given to nature & one of her
    disappearing children. In appreciation, Blue

since every contest on AP seems to ask us to step out of the box, surely the only way to produce original poetry is to stay inside it

I followed the link provided, what an interesting little animal and how sad that they are nearing extinction, as they do no harm to the environment or other animals or people.

In your word bank; I don’t know what a carnard is; did you mean to list canard?

      Dear Amera

It's not my word bank. However, I have proofread the whole contest this minute. You will see I have made changes. It IS my responsibility ... yes.
    • Thanks for the second set of eyes on this one. I am notorious for typos.
