twist

a word prompt: twist

PLEASE read the rules:

- free verse

- left align

- plain background

- no pictures

- around 100 words or less ...give or take

- do not use the word twist in your poem

- you can use the word twist in the title, but not on its own

- no over-emotional, cutting, dark or fantasy

- please use some poetic device

- you can edit until the contest closes

I really wanted to see if I could have an anonymous contest

because the idea seemed fun -

but it's not possible because most of the poems entered come up

on my favorites list, also, I recognize all your unique styles

& voices, which is a good thing, though...

- so, this is not an anonymous contest now...lol

have fun!

You have twisted a knife,in our backs, not letting us use the word in the poem. Ill put on my thinking cap.
