This contest is to show off your avatar/face image that you have picked and to be inspired by it.
You have these choices -
1. Write a caption in one sentence that brings your avatar to life or either why you picked it.
2. Write a poem of 50 words or less describing what you like about your avatar.
3. Write a poem in 20 lines or less why you think that your avatar is the best.
4. Now the last choice is this. If you're not inspired by your avatar (or change it a lot) you can pick your favorite picture to write about in less then 20 lines. You must link me back to the picture or include in the poem. The picture must be G Rated and within site rules no I don't care if it's dark etc...just please remember the site rules.
Now please pay close attention to the rules.
1. If you change your avatar you MUST update your poem and edit it right away then let me know if I have already commented on it. If the avatar doesn't match the first thing that you wrote please include the link to the first one.
2. Sometimes the images aren't very clear in the avatars and I would appreciate it if you can provide somekind of link in your author notes but if you can't it's ok.
3. ALL avatars must be G Rated because this contest is opened to all. No nudity, profanity (that includes giving the finger), insults, violence etc. If you have any questions on if your avatar is ok for the contest IM me and I'll be happy to tell you.
4. No insults are allowed in this contest but please note that sometimes I do give harsh critques and if you don't want that make a note in your author notes and I won't do it.
5. Please keep all poems and captions G rated.
6. The prizes may or may not increase but until I close it the gold will stay at 300. I will only award a couple of hm's depending on enteries.
7. Please make sure that your avatar is alright to use and not a image that the artist doesn't want anyone to use. If you can give proper credit I'd appreciate it.
8. Please make all poems readable and not on busy backgrounds.
9. I don't care what kind of avatar you have just remember to keep in the site rules and within the rules of this contest. I don't care what form you use to write.
10. Sometimes I view poems before commenting but always comment before judging.
11. If I don't get enough enteries by the closing date I will reopen it one more time and then judge or delete it if the numbers are really low like under five.
12. If the avatar is of yourself by all means still feel free to enter! Like I said I don't care what the avatar is just long as it is within site rules

WOW, this was SO hard for me to judge. I know I left small comments on each because I loved them all!
The first one won gold because of the metaphors in the poem. She made me almost cry when I read it. Plus her husband drew the picture. I must say he has incredible talent!!
The second one won silver because she made me laugh so hard and thought she gave a really amazing twists to it.
I'll always remember her poem when I see the avatar lol.
The third one won bronze because she gave a very beautiful and short caption and made her avatar come to life.
The honorable mentions all touched me in a certain way.
Now there are still some awesome poems that didn't win anything that I encourage you each to read like PerVirtuous has a wonderful one that I wish I could have awarded something for! Riftkin is deep and straight to the point! Waydownuponjoy has a wonderful one about animals. I could go on and on.
