I have a new friend here on AP
I have talked to him alot, and he is a wonderful person.
I think he needs a family!!!!
Don't we all?
He would make a great addition to your own family.
He's sweet, caring and so respectful.

He has been here just a little while and maybe kinda shy. He lives in Arkansas (like me) and at times it can get pretty lonely!
But we all need encouragement. I know there are some wonderful poets here at AP, I have met several that actually take the time to read your poetry(no matter how bad it might be at times, LOL)
knowing most of us are still learning that still take the time to make suggestions on improvment or just a nice comment.
So far, I don't think he has any family so apply for any position I guess.
Except for twin cause I think I am taking that position, it seems we are so much alike and have so much in common, he is the male version of me!
He is 17, and not a typical 17 year old guy.
I just want him to see his own worth and to let him know that he is a special person.
He needs new friends!!!! And he would be a great friend to you also because he is just like that. A very caring person.
This will be a very simple contest. It doesn't matter if you write like a professional poet or a beginner. No age limit, no certain poetry style just write the way you write. I will be letting him pick his family members, (except me of course because I am very bossy) So in turn you will be in my family and my family is about perfect, just ask them, LOL!
If you know him but are not in his family, then you have a upperhand. You already know what a great person he is, so just write!
If you don't and would like to get to know him to see if he would "fit" into your own family just im him. He won't mind, I'm sure and he is very sweet and loves to talk to people.
Here are the rules:

The poem needs to be about a specific family member position, but if you don't like writing poems on that, enter what you would like but at least im him and try to get to know him, after all that is what this contest is about.
Please not alot of cutting, depression or sad poetry, that is not what this is about.
I will be adding HM's at the end of the contest. My hopes for this is that he gets tons of new friends, some family members that will act like family and keep in touch here on AP.
Well, that's about it!
Hope to read some new poets here and maybe some great new poems from poets I already know!
P.s this will not be an anonymous contest so we can check you out too! Even MY family members are encouraged to enter, if you like me you'll like him too!
