WHAT IS THE SECRET OF LIFE?? Okay, this is my first contest so I'm going to try to make it easy on myself and all who enter. First thanks for even looking at my humble contest and feel free to check out my stuff (shameless promo.) I hope those of you who know me will enter too, I would love to see your thoughts on this. But I worn you that it will be much harder on you cause I know what you can do....
Alright now for the contest..... all it is easy "what is the secret of life" at least from your point of view. I have been dealing with this subject a lot in conversations I've had lately. I know what I think it is, and I'll revel it after the judging. Feel free to use any style or even storys, what ever touches you. Anyways here are the rules....
1. Imagination.....it's the best gift we have use it
2.Spelling/Grammar/Sticky Taps...... I'm not the best at english, but do your best too many mistakes will drive me nuts
3.Stay on topic... "what is the secret of life??"
4. Have FUN... Fun, Fun, Fun.....

Now don't get me wrong, I said the secret not the meaning. I'm not that nieave. I believe the secret is different for all of us. Some beleive the secret is friends, others family, and for many it's love. Some find it in helping others. Some it in what they leave behind. Then for some it's the pursuit of knowledge.
I beleave the secret is that it's your secret. Yours to shair or hold from who ever you choose, that is the nature of a secret. It's what makes your best days better and your bad days worst. It's what makes life worth living. the secret of life is what makes life enjoyable.
I believe, for me, the secret is "to be easily amused." Finding joy in the small things. It makes lifes smallest joys large and the largest problems smaller. So with this in mind that is why I loved this contest, I enjoyed reading each piece. They all where great and made my day.
So in all, I think we all have a secret and they are simpler then you nee them to be to find. They are what "makes your day" so to speak. I think each person secret is vaild for the whole human race, but much more vaild to them. That is where the idea for this contest came from, so I hope you found this thought provoking, understandable, and enjoyable...
Don't was life looking for answers, enjoy each moment your given, and don't over complicate the simple joys. I hope to see all in my next contest and hope you have found some truth in my words.

. This is a topic I enjoy. Having read books like 7 Habits for Highly Effective People by Covey and The Purpose Driven Life by Warren and of course the Bible, I feel strongly about people finding a secret, or purpose, to life.

i think you did a good job judging among so many great entries, i know how hard that was for you. my only complaint (pouty face) is that i was hoping to see some honorable mentions, with points or just applause awarded, because there was so much good poetry, inspired, insightful, and beautifully designed by some really good poets who deserve special recognition. this was a difficult topic, i thought, to make affective and imaginative poetry out of that still made sense to anyone but the writer. hence the main reason i did not enter. but to all those who did: i applaud your effort even if i neglected to applaud your poem, and i thank you for making Jc's first contest such a success!
