I pretty much write when ever the urge strikes me, which is a lot.

This is my favorite poem because I couldn't have expressed my feeling more accurately if i wrote it myself.
Paperdoll People By: Stefanie Wilde

Your plastic eyes search my figure
So different from yours
Unique and hideous
A creature you have never seen

You shake me violently, and turn me over
Looking for my seam
The place of imperfection
Where you can rip me apart and find out
what I am made of

I am different from you
And it scares you
I have disrupted your neat order
Your common sense geometric world

You hate me
And all because I chose to be my own person
But I am not you
And I am not like you

Though I want to be like you
I try to stand in your rows of paperdoll people
And I pretend you won't notice
But I am always found out

I want to be accepted
But I refuse to be like you
The happy meduim I'm searching for
is nowhere to be found

So I sit by myself, cowering
Hiding in the corner of our world
Watching as the single file lines
Of paperdoll people go by.

Another favorite ~All American Girl By:Stephanie Johnson

                          Maybe she's born with it,
                         no, it's probably just the
  Maybelline
                                           Eat less,
  lose more.
                                     Thin thighs for
  your man
Bleached out bimbos made of sugar & spice &
  everything
  nice
With just a *pinch* of plastic
Wait a second? Isn't home grown better
     than store
  bought?
Wake up girlie, this is the
  90s,
I like your eyes, where'd you buy
  them?
I must say, narcissism has never looked so
  good
    supermodels & Covergirls-"...that's what I wanna
                                      be when I grow
  up
  Mommy"
If Barbies's so popular, why do we hafta buy her
  friends?
                                        Am I missing
  something here?
The depths of shallowness are endless; being
  vacuous a gift.
Oh, and by the way... do you like my hair
  better up or down?

These are both from an awesome book called :Slam Poetry" put out by alloy books,if you like these you should pick up a copy at any book store. (come on it's only 6 bucks)
