Panthers Poetic Patriciate

Before I moved from the south coast of NSW, Australia to the Hunter Valley Region, I used to be part of a poetry group called "Jamberoo Pissed Poets Society" run by a man and wife on a rural property, we would meet roughly once every 3 weeks and share supper, conversation and our love of poetry. Each meeting we would agree on the best poem presented that week "yes we had readings" and the author of that piece set the topic that we had to write for at the next meeting.

So this group has been formed to attempt to recreate at least some of that experience for those who are keen to be challenged or keep the dreaded writers block at bay.

We might even have informal contests within the group at various times depending on how active people become. If this happens, then the sole prize will be 75 points tranferred from the give points section of the help page. Each consective winner of such contests will pass the points along to the next winner.
