    ONE OF A KIND

I wrote this about 2 years ago for a girl I was close to at the time. She was only 21 but inside she had so much pain. I think the poem sums up fairly well what she was going through at the time

    SINCE I WAS A BOY

I like the way this one turned out. Every time you read it, something new is exposed. There's a lot of meaning in each line and it will mean different things to different people.

    DRUGS

I have seen too many friends go the way of drugs. This poem pulls no punches, it tells it like it is. Life can be tough down at THE CRACK ARENA!

    MY WRITTEN WORKS

The poems here come from my collection of over 100 poems I've written. I would like to put them in a book but don't know how to go about it yet. I'm new to this site so any suggestions I would greatly appreciate.

    CHILD'S MIND

There is a place in all our hearts where desire to be on top of a mountain, to be free and full of passion for life we wish for. That about sums up what this poem is about.

ALL IN THE NAME OF FUN

It's sad that in this day and age, starvation still kills a large number of individuals in parts of Africa, along with aids and other nasty diseases. Many of them only children. I dedicate this poem to those people.

    OUR PLANET

We only have one world where we can all live. So we need to look after it a lot better then we sometimes do. My poem "Down Where The Rivers Run Free" is about our home we call mother earth. It's long yes, But I think it reflects well what is happening in our world today.
