If you close your eyes
And listen very quietly
You will hear a voice
So soft and clear
"I'm ok, I really am"
Oh how beautiful the voice sounds...
But keep your eyes closed
And listen some more
Once again you will hear;
"Please smile for me, as I miss you all so"
Do you feel the peace way deep in your soul?
But listen, there just may be more
"I am not in pain anymore"
By now your heart should be filled with warmth
And one more time
The voice softly speaks
"I love you Mom, Please know I am safe"
What a beautiful voice
When you close your eyes
Just Pausing long enough...and

Midnight
And I’m IM'ing with the only
One for me
Knowing she will take me
To where the laughs abound

Moonlight
You’re a laugh riot in disguise
You keep my heart a breaking
With all your poems of wit

Sunshine
And the founder is now on line
To all of this madness
We only have her to blame

Chorus
Playing with the Queens of Fart
And knowing it ain’t really smart
Their all a bunch jokers
Looking for a place to fart

Laying out another line
Thinking up a fart in time
But that’s what they have to do
To keep us laughing too

Poets, they don’t aim to make you mad
But everybody that dares to take part
Becomes just their fair game
Poets, they just want to keep away the sads
Because when their a handing out the farts
You know they got to hand you some

Farts, you know they have handed out a few
But hide your laughs behind your hand
And tell them it’s just not for you
And others, they know just
What you’re going through
And it’s a-hard to sit it out
When you know their only in it for fun

five, my favorite number five
sept. 15th, in 1965, at 5:55am - the moment i arrived

many years later i found
another friend in blonde moments
creative, elative, beauty in verse
fun, full of love life
helping and giving love unrehearsed

a blessing to many souls
i'm glad her life's whole
with family, friends and loves
i'll always remember her sweet
even if from up above

she's brought me sweet laughter
she's made lions eyes cry
she lives not for self
but for the many others

i'll smile, whisper her name
within my last breaths journey
and feel joy course through
for moments, little blonde moments

.....she set this lion free.

Birthday Poem (1) *Birthday Wish*

You've brought be a wonderous joy in my before
By words lips spilled, and your heart once bore
You've told us stories of beauty and pain
of days of sunshine and nights of rain

You held our comment to the light
You accepted the dim as much as bright
You seem to be skipping as you walk
My heart starts smiling as you talk

You have a familly that is small but sweet
You have a sense of peace none can defeat,
Bringing me the sense of hope that I seek
Through syllables which leave many weak

Today
Is a day that was made for you.
For the Many.
You gave to me.
With out the pictures of inspiration you and others drew.
My life now simply may not be.

I wish you to always embrace your sorrow
I wish you joy, peace and happiness
May harsh words grace yesterday, but never tomorrow
May God always grant your birthday wish.
