Movements in Moonlight

Missing image
You drift across
my sleep~filled eyes
like sunlight filtered
through closed shutters ~
even in Darkness,
your Light
is too bright
to ignore...

You dance within
my beating Heart
& I feel
the rhythm altered ~
you move slowly, sinuously
through my veins
& the heat spreads
from within
this Dream...

You move me
from the Wasteland
to the shoreline ~
I feel the waves
ascending,
then crashing
on the rocks below ~
the tide surges
& I am floating
on the currents
of your Love...

I just love the way you write so beautifully.

This is the kind of poetry that I can aspire to. You are such an inspiration for me to dig down deep, and try to just write what's in my heart. Thank you for blessing us with your words.

    of your Love...

    The moon we remembered
    pushes us together
in a tide wind few have
    discovered since,
    and as we touch the
    thunder of the wave
    quakes the fury in your
    firey kiss.

I love the way you write...

You captured the beauty of love extremely well, I love the imagery that accompanies this piece. The ability to give off a sort of tranquil feeling is a rare quality that is often hard to master. You did very well I must say. Keep writing and I hope to read more of your work.

I knew a woman like this once. Loved her. Used to lie in bed with the sunlight filtered through shutters and watch her sleep. Used to feel my heart dance with excitement as she lie there breathing, warming the air, her heat spreading like a drea. But that's another storey ...

I love the Wasteland line. TS Eliot would be proud.

    Good stuff this is.

I agree with everything that everyone else has said, but mostly I agree with James. He did a wonderful job at describing your poetry...

Anyway...I really loved this. Especially those last few lines- they're gorgeous. This poem is soft and smooth, warm and comforting.

Reading your poetry is like walking in a dream. Everything is shimmering and bright and full of love and happiness. You pour your soul into every word you write, and you touch the hearts of anyone who reads your words.

    A glorious work of art.

The rumpled sheet background adds to the dreamy waiting this expresses. As if you wait for this love to return to you and the bed you share so willingly.
The picture you chose reminds me of a tarot card in it's mystery and the expression on the fair lady.

I hope someday to see your poetry in a golden bound book, layed down upon an altar, because your poetry has such heart, such wonder.

You really are like the sun coming through the gray clouds, because you always have a way with making your readers feel much more included in your poems than most poets are able to.

We can sense your emotions, not merely just read them, we can taste, touch, feel and smell the surroundings in your work.

So vivid and completely breathtaking, you are one of the few people whose poetry I can read and never come away disappointed.

You have a fascinating brain and a delicate writers hand.

All your pieces feel like perfectly woven baskets, all different, yet all sharing the same type of splendor, something that makes your work more than just readable again, it makes it something we should all be reading everyday, because maybe it might help us acquire a little more heart and sensitivity to the plights of others.

As always you have left me speechless with so much to say.

    I love you dear.

    hugs,
    James
