Gently We Love

Missing image
I don't Believe
anyone

should be
wounded

in the Making
of this Love ~

there shouldn't be
any victims,

no one
Lost

to the Cause...

There should
only be
a Sharing
of Souls ~

an exchange
of Spirit,

a Giving of
one's
Essence
as a Whole...

I can only Hope ~

I can only hold Faith

that Life
can be the Dream
I remember,

a silken smile

waking
to the Light...

Love is a such a mystery

you clearly define what i would have love to be
    "There should
    only be
    a Sharing
    of Souls ~

    an exchange
    of Spirit,

    a Giving of
    one's
    Essence"

thank you for these lovely words from a true heart whom puts delicate words to feelings.

Wearing a Silken Smile Even Now

Pain is often a misinterpretation of love. Love hurns away excess metals like the refiners fire does with silver. It's actually love in action at its deeper places that leaves no ememies. Even hate doesn't have THAT much stregth. But once the bullsit is gone from ones' attention, we walk in light and are light and love.
I treid to back to your first poems, but the AP system will not allow me to go further back than fifty pages. Guess being prolific is frowmen upon here.

'love can often stretch us to our limits and beyond what we can stand in pleasurable ways as well as painful, but true love always snaps back and lays down for more, wheter it be tears or joy, for it is the act of loving that turns the wheels that move the soul to limits two would never otherwise know. ~~Artis

This is an elouqently written poem about one of the strongest emotions known to man and woman. The one emotion with both the power to make and break us. It would be nice if it didn't hurt so much at times but you know what they say about that, no pain ... no gain. What you can gain from it far outways the pain that's for sure

This is beautiful! And I totally agree. Wouldn't it be nice if no one was hurt in the making of love? Unfortunately Pandora had to open that box and pain is everywhere...*sigh*. Well, like I said, nice poem

    breathtaking

...it is impossible to fall out of love. Love is such a powerful emotion, that once it envelops you it does not depart. True love is eternal. If you think that you were once in love, but fell out of it, then it wasn't love you were in. There are no 'exit' signs in love, there is only an 'on' ramp...
your words are like healing balm on my fevered soul...
