The front page of the paper this morning
Another politican corrupts the world
Another little girl stolen from her home
And I am left discusted with the world today
But this world isn't going to change on my behalf
It is what is it, I'll have to deal
With the aids killing the innocent
and the rich stealing from the poor
I can do my part, but what good can I do?
One vote doesnt REALLY count, even though it may
Giving a dollar to charity helps
But that dollar only goes so far
The poor will always be here
the dying will always die
the ozone layer, do I need to say it?
We try and try, what good can we do?
Tears now streaming down my face
I am so small in the big picture
Even if we all gather to change the world
It will never change enough so that we are all happy.
