~ Do You Miss Me Too?

Tell me, did you ever wish on a shooting star?
To be with the one who is now so far
And did you ever cry for the girl who
Has always adored and loved you, only you
Who wanted you with a heart so pure and true?
But couldn’t say the simple words "I love you"
Tell me, do you ever wander astray in the night
Thinking about someone, now beyond sight
Looking towards the moon for any clue
That I'm out there, thinking of you too
Knowing that I am also wandering somewhere
And do you still miss me too, while you are,
Searching for your lost self out there?

    Nice,

I like how you take the reader here on a ride upon the wings of thought as you jot your ponderings down upon this beautiful background that sparkles like the words you grace us with upon this poetic stage. Peace, and another wonderfully penned piece tiny!

    missing love.....

tmiss love for long is very sorrowful. Thoughts of love make us restless and we lose ourselves and wander in vacume. Love is a magic. It remains with us while together and also when away from each other.

    Hi sweety,
ah! this is a very sweet poem ... I loved the first line very much... I dont believe in shooting stars wishing... but yeah I love them too much... love is a very beautiful feeling but it has pain associated with it... love and pain go hand in hand.... you've written it very beautifully dear...
May god gives you all the happiness and all the luv...

My goodness, ‘lonely,’ you have words and phrases to share with beautiful thoughtful expression. You are a mesmeriser of people who paints with words; your ‘tentacles’ can reach out touching all who pass this way, changed forever. Thank you.

It usually starts playing right when the page loads (depending on how fast your computer is). I love this song right now, especially since I'm so lonely in the relationship I'm in right now.

Oh, I miss you bundles!! *smoothers you in kisses* Just kidding! Anyway, this was a wonderful write! I know I've felt like this many times... have you heard the song "Somebody" by Bonnie McKee? It's my most favorite song of all time, and if you want, I can send you a link where you can listen to it for free. Your poem reminded me a lot of it.
Beautiful. Keep up the good work!

I have had this same question swirling in my mind for quite some time now. I still wonder if the person who last left me sitting in the dust really cared as much for me, if he perhaps misses my presence at all or what. I can't say I don't relate to this poem...it is one of the most emotionally fitting you have written, so far. I think just about everyone has gone through this cycle at least once in their lives, and many will see it several times around. I hope that this person, who and wherever he may be, realizes just how good it feels to be admired by one--and come running back to you with open arms.

    Many blessings,

    Raven Aurora ("Mama")
