I am an inland sailor,
A child of the sea
Far away, each breath you take, creates a piece of me
Tie me to my blue lagoon; toss me to the sea,
Drown me with a wallowing wave,
But show no sympathy.
I am an inland sailor,
Adrift yet on the shore
The sandcastle you made for me, is absent of its door
Kiss my ocean longing lips and tear my nautical clothes
Bury me in the salty sand
But spare me not a rose?
I am an inland sailor,
A being without a soul
Pick up the hollow seashell and hear my spirit call
I am the inland sailor,
Robbed of dignity
Why leave me in this foreign land?
Return me to the sea.
