Love is like river
running forever in to my soul
wild as it may come
never slowing down
every time I see you
My heart accelerates
Causing chaos
put your arms around me
Never let go
kiss me so gently
always let me know
tell me that you'll love me
Promise me you will
I just can't think
that if you leave
what shape I would be in
You are my life
I need you like oxygen
breathe you in
exhale you out
But, always you surround me
If love is like a river
water if you will
that can be shaped
and formed
into different ways
not always being the same
can I drink you whole
love and all
for your all the water I need.

this poem is simple it's about love, I gave it all I've got.

Oh how romantic. This is beutiful piece indeed and I thank thee for entering into my contest. Love is everflowing and everlasting, if it is true love. There is true love in this piece and the love is flowing with the words that are spoken. So this was very nice and soothing to read.
