Fall on my face
Let the memories never waver
Too slow
Too rapid
Too many
To count.
One drips
Another drops
Until I have a puddle beneath me
Emotion written on my face
Distorted and skewed
Never fitting just right.
Try my Patience
Slowly run
Down my face
Into my mouth
An ocean develops
I can taste it
And I can smell it.
Salty
and Warm
Stained face of black
And these are the memories that I have?
Just another smear
Upon my face
Drip...
...Drop
Fall on my face
