Wings of Love
Laughter rises in the air,
all the world seems just a dream,
and together we are; happy, content.
You look in my eyes and I in yours,
and all my heart hasn’t a care.
Just a smile it may seem,
but on my lips is a hint.
In my body my soul soars,
and I fly higher than I’ve ever dared.

I totally understand the feelings in this. It's that falling in love feeling and you think you must have wings. This is such a short write, but you captured the image and feeling together here.

Tender and romantically sublime. Very well written as well. I love poems that are short and powerfully done with beauty
Best of luck in the contest.

Very sweet - I love the imagery of flight throughout: especially, "laughter rising".
