wait, wait, gotta catch up
wait, hold on
speedin on this highway,
never gonna do me any good

car tires screech
there goes a follower
fallen to his fait
(i) wish there were a way to prevent this

this highways gotten too full
its gotten too used
its gotten too complex
this highway has to change

sirens blow
sirens call
into the deep night
sirens howl

Theres something somewhere
someone to change this
something to help this
someday to prevent this

about society and fads... i was looking at my Ipod... and i got thinking... people jus have to have the most recent, most popular... they follow the media, get these things, but fall into a ditch by having to have everything... so i tried to put it into a poem

    well you did a great job at putting this into a poem! i love the metaphor! wow i love the emotion in this! it has some great symbolism too, like the highway being life, its classic! wow i love this poem and i love all of your others too! great write!
