slipping away
i feel this collapse
and the world slowly recedes
i look to the left,
i'm followed by nothingness
i look to the right,
there's no one left but me
so i take up and start to leave
when i realize i can't go alone
no matter what i have to do
without you i won't feel at home
so i pick up the phone
knowing you'll answer if you're still here
this place is still so hollow
quickly we'll disappear
we'll only find ourselves
once we're out of here
so together we're gone
to the only other place we know
to the only other place we're safe
to our new home

Really....I thought it was about two lovers who moved quickly, moved in together and then realized it wouldn't work so,
"so together we're gone
to the only other place we know
to the only other place we're safe
to our new home"
meant that they were moving into seperate places.
It is beautiful. Now that I know you are a virgo, I can hear it echoing in your writing. Like i just said "hello" into a valley from a cliff and you said , "not right now I'm busy...", back to me!
LOL, I dont really know what that meant. It seemed virgo though!
