Little Girl

Little Girl,
Has tiny feet,
With bright blond hair...

Little Girl,
With angel eyes,
So cuddly and sweet...

Little Girl,
Daddy's little Princess,
Knows all of her colors...

Princess grows,
She finds her way,
Becomes more independent...

Smiley face,
Abused in many ways,
The cruel world is out to get her...

Confused and lost,
Know one to trust,
Abandoned by her mother...

Hides out,
Inside her head,
Afraid to take off the cover...

Tiny dancer,
Twirling high,
With thoughts and imagination...

Scared to show,
How she really feels,
So scared to play with the others...

Contempt to silence,
Inside her mind,
Deaths of many loved ones have arrived...

Poems galore,
As her thoughts,
They soar,
Onto paper the bottles must poor...

Not able to hold it all in,
She must release the depression within...

She has been hurt,
One too many time,
And this is how she must get by...

But how long will these poems last,
Until she will pull the trigger...

The pen held up nice,
As the barrel in its place,
But what happens when it all unravels...

Little girl,
Pretty and sweet,
Daddy's little Princess,
Alas will she defeat?
