help me find a place
in societies vindictive ways
set out by the heartless and vain
who's life every person craves
help me find a place
among the rich and famous
who spit on the poor skum of the earth
who's simple nature shame us
help me find a place
where i can belong as me
no more hiding behind the masks
i need a place where i can feel free
help me find a place
somewhere loving and kind
no more living in the rain
where intelligence is undermined
help me find a place
that welcomes me with open doors
like a family in good fortune
where i cannot be ignored
help me find a place
in societies vindictive ways
somewhere safe and loving
something that i crave

Hmm, Very nicely written. The irony is that the folk that it seems really aimed at, the climbing middle classes and neauveu riche, would never understand it? Well put and I think it also points wonderfully towards how uncaring the world we live in today has become.
