To you be the power
Who establishes me
Whose word spreads life
Who reveals all mysteries
Unto my God and King
Eternal
Who was, is and will be
Immortal
Who has life, is life, and gives life
Invisible
Who is seen and unseen, known and unknown
The only wise God to who belongs all knowledge, all understanding
Be honored always; be glorified forever
Author notes
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
Romans 16:24-27
Now unto the King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God,
be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Timothy 1:17

I have found that the receptivity to works like this is both fair and open minded here at AP. That is as long as those who post them understand those who have yet to have met Him who we honor with all our spirit. The spirit of poetry is open to all faiths and those without any. It is He who has given us the ability to reason, possess faith and and describe what those reasonings and faith produce in us. Even works that seem to blaspheme Him are still works created by those who are made in His image. How ever flawed man might be in his fallen state, his or her works still have validity as created by the object of His affection and crowning work, man. We are all in this boat of humanity together. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece honoring Him with whom we all have to do whether we know it or not. Worship is that which man does with forethought separating us from the beasts of the field which know no past and perceive no future. Hail to the King who is, and was, and will ever be. Hail to Him who took time to rescue me.. RC

I saw this and had to read, and I'm glad I did. May all His own have such a heart for Him, being formed by His word. It's good to see these types of writes. This place needs it. I also saw you author's page. Good to see you here.
You may find this one I write interesting. Here is the link: allpoetry.com/Poem/1852319

I love poems like this. Im so happy to see them, because a lot of people seem to be to scared to write anything religious because they're afraid of others criticizing them, I'm glad you weren't! This was a beautiful piece, and hey... Anyone gives ya any mean comments, point em at me! lol, great job, and best of luck in this contest!~

I really enjoyed your writing but having macular degeneration which causes weakness in vision, it was difficult to look at it on the background you chose. This is not a criticism, but maybe a softer background for us whose eyes are not up to par. As I said nothing wrong with it so please don't be offended. Keep up the writing and God bless you.

An important poem you have here
This poem is just beautiful. The first thing I thought when I looked at the picture was that Jesus never wore a crown like that, but I like it. He IS our king. Thank you for sharing this sweet and true message with us.
