Rock Star

Today’s a Saturday the bills are paid
My pockets full of money ready for the day
Got drunk last night hanging with my friends
Woke up this morning under the bed
I could see the stars flying near
Couldn’t remember what I did here
I lost my shoes tatted with glue
Found this picture and there were you
It’s upsetting to keep this around
So I threw it outside and watch it hit the ground

Am a rock star playin’ my electric guitar
Rocking on open mic bars
Climbing to reach my star
Playing for the world to take
On new music and embrace
‘Cuz what I have to say
Will stand as the anthem for everyday

The next Saturday just another day
