Never Surrender

Flailing at the chasms of death,
hanging from a parachute caught in the propeller of a plane,
below a grinding saw bearing down slowly;
Never Surrender.

At the worst point of physical malady,
senile to the highest degree,
seeing things that aren't there;
Never Surrender.

Lovesick, heartsick, left out to dry,
betrayed and hated you may be,
but still someone loves;
Never Surrender.

When the world falls apart,
Stones crumbling off the edge of the earth,
winged-beings of light on Revelation's Horses,
come to save the few lucky,
swarms of locusts to swallow you up;
Never Surrender, so that I can save you.

Not much to say about it. This is fresh, I wrote it today in the beautiful spring weather of Missouri.

    AWESOME

    OH WOW...This was awesome...Never surrender...such a powerful message. This says so much to so many that have so little hope. Continuing on with life is the entire essence of living...no matter what. I really enjoyed this piece.
