Missouri Spring

Sitting, leg over my other,
casually reclined.
The buzz flutter of a bug,
the singing melodies of the winged fellows.
Sunlight, silhouetting the tree I'm sitting behind,
casting forth its majestic shadow,
I'm tickled and hair-ruffled by a stray breeze.
Strings of lazy clouds fill the sky.
Fresh mown grass, the sweet smell of spring,
rows drawn in the grass by the mower.
Sprinkled leaves everywhere, left over from the rakes,
that drew casual lines across the ground,
in the pleasant afternoon heat.
Heaven, paradise, and love;
all at once, and wonderfully engraved on my soul.

    I've been to Washington. It's a beautiful state. I have lived in California all my life except for a year when I lived in Nebraska, so I know what that crazy weathers like. I rather enjoyed the thunderstorms and tornados myself. Luckily the tornados never hit town. I wouldn't of liked it then.

    I'm a west coastie at heart myself... Washington state is where I call home when I'm not at school, and the springs and summers here are intense.. not used to the humidity... but it gets nice and cold at night, like today it was 80 degrees, and right now, at midnight, it's about 45 degrees. Anyway, thanks, and yeah, that tornado didn't work out . I'm feeling rather happy which is why this is so long. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it.

    I love the spring too. Just sitting under a tree enjoying the breeze ruffling your hair and taking in all the smells of the new season. There is just something so magical about it. It is ironic nice weather and then on tornado watch. It's funny I live in California and we have been having the worst weather here. Flooding, thunderstorms, hail, even snow. Luckily it doesn't bother me I love it all.
