Perpetual Motion

Missing image
Perpetual motion,
an ever changing state.
Departure from norm,
and our changing fate.

At time of conception
a disposition's revealed.
Yet personality traits
are secretly concealed.

We are all the product,
of everyday thoughts.
Encouraged by attributes,
devastated by faults.

Vulnerable in nature,
but intellectually strong.
Always self-doubting,
wondering what's wrong.

Like the changing tides
helps transform the ocean.
Personalities are formed
through perpetual motion.

So true, we are products of everyday thoughts, manipulated by newspapers and television programs, which makes us uncertain about a lot of things. Still we develop ourselves like perpetual motion. A nice poem with good words and nice rhyme. Very well done.

    Well done

Wow, this is such a great poem. Eye = I ...the way we perceive things makes us who we are...and we are who we are for the way we perceive things... I loved this!
