Our Uncompromised World

We’re deface with so many turmoil in the streets
Picket our difference base on what we mean
Revolution is about to come but no one wants change
Everyone feels that everything should stay the same
The power of leadership over shadows us
Leaving us empty making us fuss
We can’t come to a compromise unless we try
To tell our leaders to help us or we’ll all die
The homeless stay filling the streets
No one wants to build them a home or put clean shoes on their feet
The gay community is coming clean
They want to live normal lives but it seems
That the biblical United States washes them away
Putting up signs saying, “Gay no way!”
So many children live through life without a father
Running the streets doing drugs having the streets named after
Mothers lose their children everyday putting them through war
Or worse internet predators ranking up their score
Young girls getting pregnant these days
Instead of thinking about their future the old American way
Some parents wouldn’t care where they go
They would throw everything they have out the window
But hold your head up girl some help is on the way
Don’t fret just face the problem along the way
They pass the child act law stating No Child Left behind
Yea right there’s still fifteen to twenty years old still standing behind the line
Back then so many adults dropped out of high school by the age of fourteen
Now there’s nothing left to do but work at a dairy queen
While the rise of age drop out goes up to sixteen
Immigration has always been a problem
They get more benefits health education combine
Living off visa cards and income taxes while Americans serve
To pay rent and afford a better life
Even though they have bigger problems then that
Excepting them into the country where they get slap
Sent back to their world where protection still lacks
We’re still separated even though years have passed
From shows to sitcoms even music still blast
When will our leaders walk through our streets?
When will they see the dangers we meet?
Cell phones, guns, mp3s, box cutters and mace
Why are children putting themselves in danger these days?
Gang wars, hustlers, prostitute and drug trafficking
We are a target to unprotected airways even underground subways
When will we be united as a country as one
Would like to see another day another sun
When will the war be over or won?
