Word Play: Watching for You (collaboration with kaibab)

Missing image

Sitting at my window's edge
watching feathers of clouds
etching orange features of you,
waiting for words
writing our first moment together
in the well where every poet
should love to drink,

I breathe the landscape
after rain has come -
patient for rhythmic sighs
to heal our dreams,
drenched in Soul's sustenance -
I feel your hand gentle my heartbeat.

We were always meant
to write the will of the way,
Me in my mountain of silent rhyme,
you on your prairie waves of grass,
following ancient lyrics
of love's fragrant motion.

We are scented with Beauty
found in each other's visions -
your mountain rhymes drift silently
across my prairie grasses waving songs
as we dance into darkness,
holding the light within.

Each day flowers of words fly
like my ravens in a canyon dance,
never a symbol of death,
but a celebration of anticipation,
aerial acrobats swirling soul
in infinite control of limited space.

Each night, sighs flow freely
like my doves across the horizon,
always a symbol of life,
a swaying of possibility,
feathers floating in hearts
smoothing the edges of eternity.

This is a most wonderful poem!!!!
    Wanda & Rick!
    I cannot say that enough!
I cannot but be blown away by your passion in words, and your words of passion, for life, for love, for nature, for spiritual things, for writing!
As your souls meet, your words amalgamate in the most beautiful shape.

As you inspire each other you inspire me as well!
    Love
    ~Hana~

This is a collage of serenity, natural beauty and poetic skills, so soulfully blended together. Beautiful work, Vlindertjie. What a combination of woods and grass...and the end result is picture-perfect poetry...so graceful and beautiful! Hopefully this is the start of more and more collaborations - you write them and my eyes will feel them to my soul...
