Lifeboat

Drowning in these rough waters,
I cannot stay afloat any longer,
My limbs thrash to stay up
In vain, I take my last breath.

Murky blue water is my only sight,
Light cannot touch me here;
Air cannot touch me here;
Darkness without you.

You are my lifeboat,
Keeping me afloat on these,
These rough waters:
The Sea Unrequite.

I can feel here,
I know you are near,
Jump in and save me,
Take me to my lifeboat.

Your love is my lifeboat,
Keeping me afloat,
If only you would save me,
Save me from this life.
