Something struck me the other day
I realised things will never be the same
People are leaving and won't be seen again
We will never be all together as one
I don't know how I will react to this
New people, different people, taking over
I don't think I want this to happen
But things just can't stay the same forever
Eventually we will have to split up
I just didn't think it would be this soon
But it is, and I will have to cope with that
Even if I don't want to, I have to
Things change no matter what people want
Our choices can sometimes never be achieved
All we can do is wish for our lives to succeed
Knowing that change is going to happen.
Author notes
This is simply about college. I can remember my sister starting college, and that was a while ago. I guess its just happened so soon. College next year! I'm scared! Scared that I won't make the right choices and stuff up everything. Ah well.

Hey Em! It's okay...I guess everyone gets confused and starts worrying but don't. It will all work out okay, and if you think you have made a wrong choice you can always change it. Just be glad that we get all this help along the way. That we aren't being thrown in the deep end without any knowledge. Just choose what you think is right. You don't necessarily have to know where you are going, just as long as you make choices that will help get you wherever you are going. Lol, I sound like some lunatic but anyway.
Besides, aren't you looking forward to getting to meet new people, instead of all the immature personalities that reside inside the little hell we call highschool? We have it pretty easy too, in the fact that our most of our friends are going to the same college as us. Unless you are going to EC or Guilford Young. Anyway, my point is, we have people to help us the whole way, and we just need to lean on them until we are able to support ourselves.
After awhile we will start being glad that we are going to college. The atmosphere would be so much more relaxed, as everyone there is treated as adults. We are free to do what we want.
Anyway, enough blabbing. congratulations are in order if you got this far.

... You got complelty confused about what you wanna do with the rest of your life too? I was sooo confused by the end of it... I have no idea what to do. I don't mind leaving the people *to be honest I'm getting rather sick of some of the people at school* but yeah...
This is good, flows nicely and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to it.

I'm glad to see this positive view to the life here. Yes, that's how the life is; it's changing whether we like it or not, but we can always be hopeful for the best things happening in our lives.
Love you,

Well done and imaginately written.
Very perceptively written and I agree that the future is daunting at times, but this feeling of apprehension of yours does slowly lessen as one matures over the years and dont seem to end up that way or as bad. Pessimism and optimism are two words you should know and so lean towards optimism more and remain in balance. Friends come and go and sometimes better friends will come too. Friendship is like the seasons, some were meant for a season while others were meant for a lifetime and so it is natural that some will last longer than others. Yor writing still has an apprehension to it but there is your usual strength threaded through it so I know things are Ok with you but you are going through one of the most sensitive periods of your journey when all these new emotions need to be learnt, recognised and controlled, so keep on My sweet, you are doing well and getting near the top of the hill.
