A prayer for us

Kneeling down in this cold church
i put my hands together

In the name of the father
and of the son
and of the holy spirit.
amen.

This is a prayer for everyone in pain

For the devided child, a broken home
They both love you, but they can't the right way to show you
There is someone who loves you my child

For the teenager, trying out the world, failing
Put down that knife, you dont have to live in grey
I promise one day...you will feel God's love.

You'll be OK

God, please bless us
Fill us with faith
Help us love ourselves
day by day we lose sight of compassion

For the alcoholic or addict
Follow steps 1 through 12 then repeat
Hand yourself over to God
you can't do this without him

Bow your head now and pray,
God grant is the serenity
to accept the things we can not change
change the things we can
and the wisdom to know the difference.

For the poor boy, this prayer is for you
For you on your death bed, this prayer is for you
For everyone silenting weeping tonight
For every child who goes to bed hungry
For our soilders so far away
Peace be with you.
