Never Again

I'm back here
once again
against my will.

Heart over mind
love over logic
i had to come back
to say goodbye
and close the door
once and for all.

But this door has no lock
and the wind blows it open.
Every day, every second
and you're back in my head.
"Stay out my life
and go get your own".

But i cry when you're gone
and beg you to come back.
I don't want a worthless druggie
who's so out of it
he doesn't have anything at all.

I don't want you here
living in my house
eating my food
spending my money
breaking my heart
every time you go out
just to the shops
and come home weeks later
because you've run out of money.

I want to run away
from all my responsibility
that kids look forward too
without any idea
of the damage it causes.

I'll get on that plane
promise to never come back
but i'll be back here again
to start where i left off.
