moments of breathlessness,
respire
the fevered hush fills my veins,
my being
tender moments sway in sultry
with shadows
dancing to the candle's flicker
in a velvet inkwell
where passion writes a song,
of innocence
the exhale takes shape,
in glassy eye stares
while breath of the spirit
fogs inhibitions
the primitive beat bounds,
in strips
of grace shredded
in the scorched eyes
of love's flicker
