She was the last of the Cetra,
but a happy tune she still hums.

Although her life was not easy
with her blood the wars will cease
Though she misses the time when once
she sold her flowers one gil a piece.
A once caring, beautiful, and happy girl,
now lays face down, murdered in the mud.
Killed by one once hailed the hero, for
through her heart runs an ancient blood.
Her friend stands over her broken body
grief mars his face with a new crease.

Written for and inspired by the Death of my favorite character, Aeris, in the game Final Fantasy VII. The form it is written in is called a Laurenova, created by all4luv.

Anyway. I L-O-V-E-D IT!!! I love final fantacy 7. have you seen advent children? Oh the animation is b-e-a-utiful. Aeris was so COOL she was everyones favorite!! I seriously cryed when she died. I have never cryed at a game b4 and this made me bawl. I think my brother was in shock for three days and we couldn't play it for a while.
anyway to the poem. It was wonderfully witten. I love this style. Larenovas are awesome. I love how they flow like they do and everything is a peice of another. yeah its cool. -

I love this so much.
Not only because you used a form I created to write it, but because despite the limitations and restrictions set by the form, you were able to still fill the poem with such emotion, to provoke such sad and haunting imagery, and to tell a little story too. You have done an excellent job, and as the creator of the form, I am proud to look upon such a beautiful piece.
Very, very good job.
I am impressed, and that's not so easy to do anymore.
