Enchanting Garden

Missing image

The queen of dreams, on citrine wings
With snow white doves to fly ahead,
They play their game of rainbow rings
With blue bell buds and roses red.

That's an enchanting garden there
Beyond the grove, behind tall trees,
Where seducing scents fill the air,
Fairies come down to rest with ease.

She plays her game, the whole day long
Tender feet, drawing shapes on sands
Chasing butterflies, she sings her song
Of unheard tales in unknown lands.

When the sapphire curtains dance,
To the moving wind's lovely tune,
The painted flowers, steal a glance
To watch this lady chase her boon.

Wild ecstasies in a high leap
Sun and snow, together they shine,
And sweet rainbow would always peep,
Secrets hide in this holy shrine.

When golden daylight bids adieu
She is seen alone in the isles,
Forever young, forever new
She sighs and shines, in shyness smiles.

wow this is a really peaceful and calm poem. It really brings you to a place of happiness, excitment and mystery. I really enjoyed the readers connection with this poem and it's words as well as the 'free' ryhming. It really added a lot of originality. Have an awesome day and never stop writing.
