Michael in the mind{gold}

Your name pours out my lips
And it is always on my mind
Searching for that glimpse of you
But difficult you are to find

I can feel your obscure presence
Amongst the giant muted trees
And hear your voice whispering
Softly between the muffled breeze

Michael your essence traverses
Into all my ambiguous dreams
Your spirit will forever guide me
This is an apparition as it seems

Your name pours out my lips
And it is always on my mind
Blessed I am to have you there
For our souls are intertwined

Author notes

Michael:
From the Hebrew name îÄéëÈàÅì (Mika'el) which meant "who is like God?". This is the name of one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers.

    LOVELY & TOUCHING!

Lovely and touching write, Carol. I can stand amongst the trees and feel the presence as I read this (Amongst the giant muted trees), although I'm sure the presence I feel is of another, or maybe it is all of them.

    hmmmm

sounds like the loss of a loved one?

    maybe?

    not sure

    great imagery

"name pours"-- as if the word has become an ooze, so cold that sneaks down your throat

    very insightful

Thanks so much for the comments.
Yes Rin it is about the loss of a loved one. It was written for a contest by honeybear to take one of her titles and rewrite it. Just so happens that Michael is my son who died.
