As I walked down that single line
In the middle of hideous faces and melodies divine..
I saw my fate in the blue moon and eastern grace
I found the death in her solitary face

The world was young.. The days were bright
Just before one fateless night..

The beacon lead me out of a weary night..
But once the day is gone, the lights fade again

The sublime is far but your heart is young
You shall find a new caravan though silent be your tongue
Thats when you risk it all for all you ever had
For you linger in the streets of Soledad..
You bow before the Lord and pray
And your faith gives you strength to face another day
You may be lonely, you may forever remain Soledad
Still in the moonlight you'll surrender all you ever had...
Nascent hopes shall grow in the spring of tomorrow
You will find a way out of the misery and sorrow..
For today alone and forsaken they may be
But these streets of Soledad now belong to me..
