Everyone knows life will come to an end
But you never really realize until it's a friend
It happens so fast
Life is so short
Such a wonderful person
Disappeared in a snap
We heard today you passed away
We'll think about you everyday
We know that you are watching us
From Heaven up above
Everyone has their own time
And this one was your's
It broke our heart to lose you
It tore us all apart
And when you went away
you took a piece from our hearts
Don't think of him as gone away
His journeys just begun
Life holds so many challenges
This earth is only one

i wrote this about my friend zachary after he died of rabies. he was bitten by a bat that flew in his bedroom as he was sleeping & he didn't survive.
